This page contains updates on various activities around the railroad

Last year at this time we reported how we had remodeled our front passenger car.

Here are a couple of pictures of the finished product.

One of the many projects this year is the stripping and remodeling of our second passenger car. All the seats and tables were removed.

Volunteers Elaine and John did some fantastic work. John removed the seats for Elaine to reupholster then reinstalled all the seats and lighting fixtures.

Volunteer Elaine stenciled the floor the applied a splatter pattern then several layers of sealant.

Voluneet John reinstalled all the seats and lighting fixtures.

Thanks to both for so much hard work. Y’all come by sometime and see how great the passenger cars look on the inside.

Thanks to volunteers Billy and John for taking the lead on replacing the wheels on our front passenger car. With their leadership and the help of seveal volunteers, this major project went very smooth.

Several of the crew were able to install about 50 ties this month.
Track work is a never ending job and we are always looking for people to help.
Why pay all that money for a gym membership when you could volunteer at the railroad?

Stay tuned for more news.
